1. General Provisions.
1.1. The provision of the additional service “Seat Selection” (hereinafter referred to as the service) means the provision of an Economy class passenger with the right to choose a certain seat in the aircraft cabin (hereinafter referred to as the AC) at his request (subject to the availability of a seat).
1.2. The service is provided on regular flights of Aircompany Severstal.
1.3. The passenger is given the right to choose seats of various categories: standard seats in the Economy cabin or enhanced comfort seats with increased legroom in the Economy cabin.
1.4. Aircompany Severstal LTD reserves the right to restrict the provision of services for various types of aircraft and on various routes in accordance with technical capabilities.
1.5. The service can be ordered for passengers who have a confirmed booking or a paid ticket in Economy class with a confirmed booking.
1.6. Ordering the service is prohibited:
- passengers with unconfirmed reservations tickets
- deported passengers, escorted passengers;
- for group transportation;
- for unaccompanied children (UMNR);
- for passengers traveling with pets in the cabin of the aircraft(PETC).
If the service is issued for passengers of these categories, the Aircompany has the right to transfer such passengers to other seats without compensation for the cost of payment for the service.
2. Registration, payment and procedure for the provision of services.
2.1. The Service can be purchased on the official website www.severstal-avia.ru.
2.2. The provided Service is paid; the service fee is charged for the flight segment.
2.3. The service can be issued during the booking process.
2.4 The service can be ordered at any time after purchasing the ticket, but no later than 24 hours before the departure of the flight.
2.5. The cost of the service depends on the category of the selected seat (standard seat or enhanced comfort seat with increased legroom), on the location of the selected standard seat in the aircraft cabin — at the beginning of the cabin, in the main part of the cabin and the location of the seat in the row of seats (by the window, in the aisle or in the center).
2.6. The result of registration of the service is the securing of the selected seat in the aircraft cabin. After paying for the service, the passenger is issued an electronic multipurpose document (EMD); when paying for the service on the website, the EMD is sent to the email address specified during the booking.
2.7. The service will be rendered upon the fact of the passenger’s flight at the reserved seat after payment for the service and issuance of an electronic multipurpose document (EMD).
2.8. Passenger registration is carried out at the seat assigned to the passenger. In exceptional situations, Aircompany Severstal reserves the right to change the seat in order to comply with flight safety regulations or the rules for accommodating certain categories of passengers on board the aircraft.
2.9. When changing the schedule, changing the type of aircraft, in order to save the passenger the ordered service, Aircompany Severstal LTD performs the reassignment of the reserved seat in automatic mode, but does not guarantee the preservation of the number of the assigned seat. At the same time, Aircompany Severstal LTD will take possible measures to preserve the joint accommodation of passengers who have booked the service in one booking.
3. Service change, refund.
3.1. The passenger does not change the chosen seat after paying for the service.
3.2. There is no voluntary refund of the cost of the Service.
3.3. Involuntary refund is made in accordance with the rules of Aircompany Severstal, the refusal of a passenger from air carriage, which was due to the following circumstances, is recognized as Involuntar:
— cancellation or delay of the flight indicated on the ticket;
— sudden illness of a passenger or illness or death of a member of his family or a close relative traveling with him on the aircraft of the Aircompany, which is confirmed by medical documents;
— sudden illness or death of family members — spouses, parents or children (adoptive parents and adopted children), close relatives — grandfathers, grandmothers and grandchildren, full and half brothers and sisters.
— changes to the service, cancellation of the selected seat by Aircompany Severstal in cases of: replacement of an aircraft with an aircraft with a different Economy cabin layout or transfer of a passenger to a new flight when a flight is canceled or a passenger loses a connection flight with the ordered service;
3.4. The method for obtaining a refund of the cost of the service is determined in accordance with the method of payment for the service upon purchase.
3.5. Refunds paid for the service are made at the place of purchase of the service.
3.6. To register an involuntary return of the Service, it is necessary to fill out and send an application for an involuntary return and attach to the application scanned copies of all necessary documents in case of illness, death of a passenger or close relatives.
4. Conditions of accommodation and restrictions on the provision of services.
4.1. When choosing the Service, it is prohibited to accommodate the following categories of passengers at emergency exits:
- passengers with babies;
- passengers under 18 years of age;
- disabled passengers and other persons with disabilities;
- pregnant women;
- unaccompanied children;
- passengers with pets in the cabin;
If the service is issued for passengers of these categories, the Aircompany has the right to transfer such passengers to other seats without compensation for the cost of payment for the service.
4.2. Conditions of accommodation in the aircraft cabin when choosing the Service for passengers with infants in places not equipped with additional oxygen masks:
- it is allowed to accommodate a passenger with one infant only on the right side of the passenger compartment (side with DF seats), it is not allowed to simultaneously accommodate two pairs of passengers with infants in the same row on the right side of the passenger compartment (side with DF seats).
If the service is ordered in violation of the accommodation of passengers with babies, the Aircompany has the right to transfer such passengers to other seats without compensation for the cost of payment for the service.
