On all own flights of the Aircompany Severstal LTD, departing from 28.03.2021, the free baggage allowance is set according to the concept of the number of seats PC “Piece Concept”.
The free baggage allowance is established by the Aircompany and provides for the number of seats and the weight of baggage per passenger of the aircraft, which depends on the class of service, the type of fare, the direction of flight and the age of the passenger.
At the request of passengers traveling together for the same purpose of travel to the same airport (destination) or airport (destination) on the same flight (family members, persons traveling together or going on a business trip), and when such passengers conclude air transportation contracts for the passenger providing for the free baggage allowance, it is allowed to combine the amount of free baggage allowance by the weight of each of the passengers. The weight of one piece of combined baggage must not exceed thirty kilograms and is accepted for carriage without charging an additional fee.

Free baggage allowance for checked-in baggage is stated in the e-ticket itinerary receipt.
Transportation of heavy luggage (the weight of one piece exceeds 32 kg but not more than 50 kg) and oversized baggage (the size of one piece in the sum of three dimensions exceeds 203 cm) is only performed upon the prior consent of the carrier.
The piece of baggage which exceeds 50 kg will not be accepted.
Please note that according to the Federal Aviation Regulations “General rules for air transportation of passengers, baggage, cargo and requirements for passenger service, shippers, consignees,” passengers are not reccommended to put fragile or perishable items, money, jewelery, precious metals, paper securities and other valuables, business documents, keys and other similar items into their checked-in baggage.

If you are traveling with heavy or oversized baggage, with the weight of one piece exceeds 30 kg, but not more than 50 kg and/or the size of one piece in the sum of three dimensions exceeds 203 cm, then you need to pre-arrange with the Aircompany for its transportation.
Excess baggage, oversized and / or heavy baggage is accepted for carriage only if there is an available carrying capacity on the aircraft and if the passenger pays for the carriage of such baggage .
The passenger is obliged to pay for the carriage of baggage exceeding the free baggage allowance at the excess baggage rate applicable at the time of carriage for the entire carriage to the destination. The weight of excess baggage must not exceed 30 kg.
One piece of baggage exceeding 30 kg is heavy and must be transported by prior agreement with the Aircompany and paid for at the excess baggage rate. The free baggage allowance does not apply to heavy baggage.
In the event that the passenger increases the weight of the baggage transported along the route, he is obliged to pay the cost of transportation of baggage, the weight of which exceeds the free carriage rate or exceeds the weight of the previously paid baggage. In the event that the passenger decreases the weight of the transported baggage on the way, the Airline does not make any recalculations for the previously made payment for baggage.
If several carriers take part in the carriage, the passenger must obtain the consent of all carriers for the carriage of oversized baggage .
Oversized baggage is accepted for carriage provided that the dimensions of the loading hatches and baggage and cargo compartments of the aircraft allow it to be loaded(unloaded) into (from) the aircraft and pieced on board the aircraft.
This baggage must have devices for securing it when moving to the aircraft, from the aircraft and on board the aircraft.
The Aircompany has the right to refuse to accept oversized baggage for carriage if it does not meet the specified requirements.
The free baggage allowance does not apply to oversized baggage, and the transportation of such baggage must be paid for at the rate for excess baggage.

Transportation of musical instruments is carried out both in the luggage compartment and in the cabin of the aircraft.
As hand luggage:
Musical instruments may be carried in the aircraft cabin, provided that the musical instrument fits the dimensions of hand luggage (weight up to 8 kg. 55 × 40 × 20 cm.).
As baggage carried in the aircraft cabin:
When transporting musical instruments in the cabin of an aircraft, the rules for the carriage of baggage carried in a passenger seat are applied; the weight of the instrument must not exceed 80 kg. with dimensions not exceeding 135 × 50 × 30 cm.
Registration of the carriage of musical instruments is carried out with the purchase of an additional seat in the aircraft cabin when purchasing an air ticket for a passenger.
After issuing an air ticket for a passenger, it is impossible to issue an additional seat for a musical instrument.
The purchase of an air ticket for a passenger with an additional seat for a musical instrument is available only at ticket offices.
As baggage:
Transportation of musical instruments in the baggage compartment is carried out according to the general rules for the carriage of checked-in free and excess baggage.
Prior agreement with the Aiccompany is required.
Free if used by a passenger. A large battery-powered wheelchair weighing over 32 kg will be transported in agreement with the Aircompany.
In addition to the wheelchair, a special purpose wheelchair is transported free of charge.
In excess of the established free baggage allowance and free of charge, the passenger has the right to carry a baby carriage, stroller, cradle, various restraint systems for transporting a child under 12 years old, which are carried in the baggage compartment and are marked with a baggage tag. Upon prior agreement with the Aircompany and the airport of departure, it is allowed to transport a child in a stroller which should be checked in as baggage to the aircraft ladder, followed by loading the stroller into the baggage compartment, and receiving the stroller upon arrival by the aircraft.
The stroller can be taken into the aircraft cabin, but in this case its dimensions should not exceed the weight and dimensions of hand luggage.
If a passenger is flying without a child, the stroller is carried as regular baggage.

Based on IATA recommendations, air carriage of these items as checked baggage and hand luggage is prohibited along the entire route network of Aircompany Severstal.
Air transportation of these vehicles is possible as checked baggage, provided that there is no lithium battery in the vehicle.
The lithium battery removed from the vehicle is allowed to be carried only in hand luggage, provided that the battery power does not exceed the established norm — 160 Watt-hour.
The passenger is responsible for the safety of the baggage carried in the cabin.

From October 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022, free transportation of 1 set of ski/snowboard equipment in a case weighing up to 12 kg is allowed on all regular flights of Aircompany “Severstal” LTD*
* the set includes one case with skis or snowboard and one piece of luggage with additional equipment (boots, helmet, glasses), with a total weight of up to 12kg.;
* the dimensions of the equipment in the case in the sum of 3 measurements are no more than 203 cm.;
* mandatory approval of the transportation of ski/snowboard equipment with the Aircompany is required;
* 1 set for 1 ticket;
* does not apply to the “Promo” group’s baggage-free tariffs;
* the number of ski/snowboard equipment carried on the flight is limited.
