In accordance with Appendix No. 1 of the Rules for Conducting Pre-Flight and Post-Flight Inspections, approved by Order No. 104 of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated July 25, 2007, it is prohibited for passengers to carry the following dangerous substances and objects on board an aircraft in checked baggage and in things with passengers:

  • Magnetized substances
  • Explosives and weapons
  • Toxic and toxic substances
  • Flammable liquids
  • Flammable solids
  • Radioactive materials
  • Compressed and liquefied gases
  • Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides
  • Toxic substances
  • Caustic and corrosive substances
  • Small-sized vehicles for personal transportation powered by lithium batteries (monowheels, segways (mini segways), hoverboards, gyroscuters, electric scooters and others).

    Air transportation of these vehicles is possible as checked baggage, provided that there is no lithium battery in the vehicle. The lithium battery removed from the vehicle is allowed to be transported only in hand luggage, provided that the battery power does not exceed the established norm — 160 Watt-hour

  • and other dangerous substances, objects and cargo that can be used as a weapon of attack on passengers, the crew of an aircraft, as well as posing a threat to the flight of an aircraft.
It is allowed to carry the following items and substances on board the aircraft by crew members and passengers in compliance with the required conditions:

Devices with lithium batteries/batteries

The possibility of air transportation of a lithium battery depends on its configuration and energy consumption (watts/hour) (for rechargeable lithium-ion/polymer batteries) or lithium content (for non-rechargeable lithium metal batteries).

Rules for the transportation of lithium batteries

Liquids

A capacity of more than 100 ml is not accepted for carriage in hand luggage, even if the container is only partially filled.

Medicines, baby food and special dietary needs are an exception for transportation.
