Cargo transportation

Goods transported by air must have serviceable containers and packaging that comply with applicable standards and specifications. Cargoes for which standards and specifications have not been established for packaging and packaging must be packed in a serviceable container that ensures their reliable mooring and safety during transportation. Other goods, equipment, etc., in agreement with the carrier, can be transported without packaging.

The packaging of goods submitted for air transportation must be dry and clean, the goods must not have pointed corners, protrusions and other things that could contaminate or damage the aircraft premises and their equipment, as well as baggage and mail.

Metal, glass, ceramic, wooden, plastic and other containers in which liquid and other goods to be transported by air are packed (filled) must withstand internal overpressure, depending on altitude and temperature, and fully guarantee against leakage, spillage or scattering of contents.

The packaging or packaging of seats delivered for air transportation with declared value must be sealed. Seals should be standard and have clear impressions of digital or alphabetic images. The sealing of the cargo and the name of the sender's seals are indicated in the consignment note.
