Urns with ashes of the deceased are issued upon presentation of a certificate that there are no foreign attachments in the urns; cremation certificates and death certificates. Urns containing ashes must be sealed by the institutions that issued the certificate. Urns with ashes can only be transported in the baggage or cargo compartment of the aircraft. It is prohibited to transport urns in the passenger's hand luggage. We recommend checking them in at the oversized baggage counter and notifying about the attachment at check-in. A special employee is called for this category of baggage. Such baggage is not sent along the belt (it is carried manually). Transportation is carried out exclusively in a bag/suitcase, and the urn must be tightly packed to ensure reliable transportation.
