Since July 8, 2019, Severstal Aviation Enterprise LLC has completely stopped operating flights to Georgia (Batumi). This measure was taken in accordance with Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 287 dated June 21, 2019 "On certain measures to ensure the national security of the Russian Federation and protect citizens of the Russian Federation from criminal and other illegal actions", which introduces a temporary ban for Russian airlines to carry out air transportation (including commercial) of citizens from that date from the territory of the Russian Federation to the territory of Georgia. Passengers who have tickets to Russia on July 8 or later can, without any additional charges or penalties, postpone their departure to an earlier time, until the flight service is completely stopped. Passengers who bought tickets to Batumi with departure dates after July 8, 2019, will be issued a forced refund and the full cost of air tickets will be refunded.
