Dear passengers flying to Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
We inform you that in connection with the issuance of Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 889 dated 11/22/2023 "Issues of citizenship of the Russian Federation", the passage of minor passengers (under the age of 14) across the state border according to the birth certificate, it will be carried out upon presentation of documents (marks) certifying the existence of citizenship of the Russian Federation.
The list of documents certifying that a child under the age of 14 has Russian citizenship:
- a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation certifying the identity of a citizen of Russia outside the territory of the Russian Federation;
- certificate of acquisition of citizenship of the Russian Federation by birth, issued by the body in charge of citizenship of the Russian Federation;
- a birth certificate with a mark confirming the presence of citizenship of the Russian Federation, affixed by an official, and stamped by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia;
- a document issued by the competent authority of a foreign state and translated into Russian, with a mark confirming the existence of Russian citizenship and the seal of the authorized body responsible for citizenship issues*.
- also, the citizenship of the Russian Federation for a minor passenger (under the age of 14) it can be confirmed by the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation of a parent, guardian or trustee, if the information about this is entered in the passport and certified by the signature of an official and the seal of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
*in case of obtaining a birth certificate in the territory of a foreign state.
