Ski, snowboard, or hockey equipment can be transported free of charge from October 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027. A set of ski, snowboard, or hockey equipment may consist of one bag for gear and one bag for skis, a snowboard, or a hockey stick(s). The sum of the three dimensions of each bag must not exceed 203 cm, and the total weight of the set must not exceed 12 kg.
For flights taking place between October 1, 2026, and April 30, 2027, one set of ski, snowboard, or hockey equipment may be transported at no extra cost to the passenger. This offer applies to all scheduled flight destinations.
The offer does not apply to connecting flights (flights with a layover) or travel under the M2 Multilateral Agreement.
It applies only to bookings made under the "Standard" fare brand.
Prior approval from Severstal Aircompany LLC is required for the transport of ski, snowboard, or hockey equipment. For bookings made via the Severstal Aircompany LLC website or mobile app, you must submit a request for approval using the feedback form. If your booking was made through a third-party agency, please inform the agent that you intend to transport a set of ski, snowboard, or hockey equipment.
Unregistered baggage is accepted for carriage only subject to the availability of space in the baggage hold.
A maximum of one set of skiing, snowboarding, or hockey equipment is permitted per ticket.
The number of sets of skiing, snowboarding, or hockey equipment that can be carried on any given flight is limited. Severstal Aircompany LLC reserves the right to refuse the carriage of such equipment if the flight's capacity limit for these items is exceeded.
When traveling on fares that do not include a free baggage allowance, skiing, snowboarding, or hockey equipment is subject to a carriage fee and does not grant an additional free baggage allowance. In the event of excess weight, charges will apply in accordance with the airline's excess baggage rates.
