All baggage carried by the passenger, including baggage in the cabin of the aircraft, must be presented at check-in, which is caused by security requirements.

Baggage (checked in) is the passenger's baggage, which the airline accepts for carriage under its responsibility for its safety, is marked with a baggage tag and transported in the baggage compartment of the aircraft.

The weight of the checked baggage carried free of charge is indicated in the itinerary receipt of the electronic ticket.

Transportation of heavy baggage (the weight of one piece of which exceeds 30 kg, but not more than 50 kg) and oversized baggage (the size of one piece in the sum of three dimensions exceeds 203 cm) is carried out only with prior agreement with the carrier. Baggage, the weight of one piece of which exceeds 50 kg, is not accepted for carriage.

About combining the following passengers' baggage items together:

At the request of passengers traveling together for the same purpose of travel to the same airport (destination) or airport (stop) on the same flight (family members, persons traveling together or going on a business trip), and when such passengers conclude passenger air transportation agreements providing for a free baggage allowance, it is allowed to combine the amount of free baggage allowance by the weight of each passenger. The weight of one piece of combined baggage must not exceed 30 kilograms and is accepted for carriage without additional charge

For passengers traveling on international flights:

Please note that according to the Federal Aviation Regulations "General Rules for Air Transportation of Passengers, baggage, cargo and requirements for passenger service, shippers, consignees", passengers are not recommended to put fragile and perishable items, banknotes, jewelry, precious metals, securities and other valuables in their checked baggage, business documents, keys and other similar items.

Hand luggage

Hand luggage is baggage that a passenger can take with them to the cabin of the aircraft. Unlike checked baggage, hand luggage is not sent to the luggage compartment, but is placed either in a special compartment above the passenger's seat or under the seat in front of him.

Weight not more than 8 kg

Dimensions no more than 55*40*20 cm

Hand luggage exceeding the free hand baggage allowance established by the airline in weight and/or dimensions is checked in by the passenger in accordance with the terms of the concluded passenger air transportation agreement.

Any piercing and cutting objects (including nail scissors) and other dangerous items are not allowed to be transported in hand luggage.

The passenger is responsible for the safety of the baggage carried in the cabin of the aircraft.

Hand luggage can be checked in the calibrator

You can check your hand luggage yourself in advance using calibrators so as not to worry: They are located next to check-in counters and at boarding gates at some airports.

During check-in, be ready to show the staff all the things that you are going to take to the cabin, as well as put them in the calibrator.

As hand luggage in excess of the norm established by the Airline, and without charging an additional fee, the passenger has the right to carry the following items:

  • a backpack, the weight and dimensions of which do not exceed 5 kg and the dimensions do not exceed 55*40*20 cm, established by the rules of the Airline;
  • handbag or briefcase;
  • printed publications for in-flight reading;
  • umbrella (umbrella-cane is checked in luggage);
  • crutches, canes, walkers, rollators, a folding wheelchair used by the passenger and having dimensions that allow them to be safely placed in the cabin of the aircraft and on a shelf above the passenger seat or under the seat in front of the passenger seat;
  • bouquet of flowers;
  • outerwear;
  • suit in a holdall;
  • meals for the child during the flight;
  • a device for carrying a child (a baby cradle, holding systems (devices) for children under two years old, a baby stroller, etc.) when transporting a child, the weight and size of which correspond to the approved standards of airline hand luggage, and allow them to be safely placed in the cabin of the aircraft on a shelf above the passenger seat or under the seat in front standing passenger seat;
  • medicines, special dietary requirements in the amount necessary for the duration of the flight;
  • goods purchased at duty-free shops at the airport, packed in a sealed (sealed) plastic bag, the weight and dimensions of which do not exceed 2 kg and the dimensions of hand luggage established by the rules of the Airline.

Non-standard luggage

Luggage, the weight of one piece of which exceeds 30 kg, but does not exceed 50 kg and/or the size of one piece in the sum of three dimensions exceeds 203 cm

  • Oversized baggage is accepted for carriage provided that the dimensions of the loading hatches and baggage and cargo compartments of the aircraft allow it to be loaded (unloaded) into (from) the aircraft and placed on board the aircraft.
  • This baggage must have devices for securing it when moving to the aircraft, from the aircraft and on board the aircraft.
  • The airline has the right to refuse to accept oversized baggage for carriage if it does not meet the stated requirements.
  • The free baggage allowance does not apply to oversized baggage, the transportation of such baggage must be paid at the rate of excess and oversized baggage, valid at the time of transportation and for the entire transportation to the destination.
  • If several carriers are involved in the carriage, the passenger must obtain consent for the carriage of oversized baggage from all carriers.

Transportation of excess and non-standard baggage is possible only under the following conditions:

  • prior approval of the airline;

If the passenger reduces the weight of the transported baggage on the way, the Airline does not make any recalculations for the previously made payment for baggage.

Electronic devices powered by lithium batteries must be completely turned off (not in standby or low-power mode) and placed in protective packaging to avoid unintentional activation or damage. In the luggage compartment — as a separate piece of luggage.

Urns with the ashes of the deceased are issued in the presence of a sanitary certificate and a certificate stating that there are no extraneous attachments in the urns. Sanitary certificates are issued by medical institutions: certificates for export are issued by enterprises engaged in funeral services and performed soldering. We recommend that you check in oversized luggage through the counter (if available at the airport). It is recommended to transport equipment such as a TV in its original packaging, but if it is not available, you will have to look for another suitable box. When packing a TV, it is necessary to ensure the protection of equipment from all sides. For example, you can use pieces of foam or plywood that are placed inside the box between the walls. This allows you to protect the screen from impacts, although it increases the final weight of the luggage. In any case, care must be taken to ensure that there is enough bubble wrap and foam inside the package, which will help protect fragile equipment from possible damage during transportation.
